John Ingram, a native of Wimborne, Dorset, served as an Armourer Sergeant with the 1st Royal Dragoons in both the Peninsula War and subsequently during the Waterloo campaign, 16-18 June 1815.
Note: The recipient’s Waterloo Medal is known to exist, and was last sold at auction in 2012.
