bt Simmons, November 2002

These multi-level die-cut medals were given to visiting heads of state, VIPs and executives of the New Millennium Experience Co. Analysis of the gold in this medal has shown it to be 14ct. The New Millennium Experience Co was established in February 1997 and funded by income generated by the National Lottery. After a number of cases of alleged fraud and a pursuant review of its operations, the NMEC entered voluntary liquidation in December 2001.
