British Iron Age, ICENI, Ecen (c. AD 10-43), silver Half-Unit, Mini Ed type, back-to-back open crescents within lozenge of corded lines, rev. horse right, solid head, harness and reins, V-shape above, ed below, 0.52g (ABC 1690; BMC –; VA –; S –). A couple small spots of verdigris, otherwise better than very fine and excessively rare £80-£100
