T. A. Bridger attested for the 10th Hussars and served with them in South Africa during the Boer War. He was killed in action at Wanhoop, Cape Colony, on 11 August 1901.
G. R. Bridger, brother of the above, attested for the 13th Hussars, and served with them in South Africa during the Boer War. He was later an in-pensioner at the Royal Hospital, Chelsea.
