Coudray, draped and armoured figure of France standing, head turned to left, man seated on the ground at her feet, holding a bamboo cane and leaning on a basket, hut fire in left background, agricultural scene and a locomotive at right, rev. lakeside village, palm tree at right and boats moored to pontoons in foreground, tablet impressed (Exemplaire de Collection), edge impressed bronze and cornucopia, 68mm, 116.30g (CGMP p.100; BDM I, 464 and VII, 194; cf.
