The following were amendments to the printed catalogue descriptions:
141. Queen Mary’s original GCVO Star, set with white sapphires, is held by the Royal Collection and, according to its records, a Star set with paste stones never formed part of her official insignia. Notwithstanding the handwritten notes with the Star in this lot, in the absence of further documented provenance it is therefore not possible to positively attribute this Star as one worn by Queen Mary
186. Sold with the recipient’s Jubilee Medal 1887 with 1897 clasp [originally listed as Lot 176]
