Feversham Bank, for Sir Wm Moore, Sooty, Smokejack, & Self, unissued 2 Pence, ND (1790s), no serial number, signatures of Simon Scrape and Benjamin Brush, with vignette of a chimney sweep chasing a donkey with a brush, and the latin Nunquam non Nigri (never not black), light mounting traces, top left corner tip missing, good fine to about very fine, very scarce

A strange note without a clear purpose, but obviously having something to do with chimney sweeps! Feversham is not a real place, and may be a take-off of Faversham, although at various times there have been Earls of Feversham.
