FRANCE, Homme nu [Naked Man], 1930, an Art Déco gilt-bronze award medal by R.-R.-A. Bénard, nude male figure of Hermes standing facing, arms raised, sun’s rays above mountains and a temple in the background, rev. tablet on floral branches, named (Féerie Boréale, 1936), edge impressed bronze and with foundry mark, 50mm, 44.64g (cf. iNumis MBS 34, 1261). Extremely fine; in maroon gilt-blocked case of issue by Albert Bus, Monaco £30-£40
