Kings of Mercia, Offa (757-96), Penny, Light coinage, Canterbury, Ethelnoth, offa rex in two lunettes, pellet-line and crosses between, rev. edel nod in two lines, pellet line with fleur terminals between, 1.19g/12h (Chick 119; Blunt 53; N 287; S 904). Small internal crack (above first e of edelnod), otherwise about very fine, rare £700-£900
