Continental Iron Age, NORTHERN GAUL, Aulerci Eburovices, gold Hemistater, 1st century BC, diademed head left with large, heavy cheek and wing-like hair, bristled boar attached to the underside of jaw, rev. triple-tailed horse bounding right, bird-headed charioteer above, bristled boar below, rosette in field, 3.20g/9h (Scheers Eburovices 34; DLT 7018). Very fine, well centred £600-£800
