British Iron Age, ATREBATES and REGNI, Eppilus (20BC-1AD), Quarter-Stater, Calleva Daisy type [Atrebatic G], star above and below [c]allev, rev. hound running right, eppi above, pellet daisy below, 1.17g/9h (ABC 1148; BMC 986ff; VA 407-1; S 96). Slightly off-centre and a small edge split, otherwise well struck and a rich yellowish gold, very fine and rare £300-£360
