Richard Henry Siddorn was born in Widnes, Lancashire, and attested for the Grenadier Guards at Manchester, serving with them during the Great War on the Western Front from 26 July 1915. Transferring to the 4th Company, Machine Gun Guards, he was killed in action on 27 November 1917. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Cambrai Memorial, France.
