Amlwch, Parys Mine Co, Pattern Halfpenny, 1790, by R. Dumarest for M. Boulton, in copper, druid’s head left encircled by wreath with 19 acorns, hood worked in fine parallel lines, rev. pm co cypher, edge payable in anglesey or london and engrailed, 29mm, 14.73g/12h (DH 380). Two handling marks on obverse, otherwise brilliant and practically as struck, considerable original colour, rare £200-£260
