Cochet, naked female personifying La Source standing facing, holding an upturned amphora from which water flows, a light shining on her face, rev. the illuminated fountains at the Palais de Chaillot, edge impressed bronze and cornucopia, 50mm, 60.76g (CGMP p.92; cf. The building of the fountains involved a complete restructuring of the area, replacing the old Trocadero Palace with the Palais de Chaillot and rearranging the Trocadero Garden. During the 1937 exhibition, 530 electric spotlights were installed in and around the fountain to create a night show
