Édouard Sicaire Bourdelle (1876-1960), French veterinarian and zoologist was, from 1912 Professor of Anatomy and Teratology at the National Veterinary School of Alfort and later spent his career at the National Museum of Natural History from 1926 to 1947 in the Chair of Zoology (Mammals and Birds).
