England, John Wesley (1703-91), founder of the Methodist Movement, pale blue and white oval jasperware portrait plaque by Wedgwood, c. pre-1891, bust left in gown and collar, after the portrait by Henry Edridge, 105mm x 79mm, stamped ‘Wedgwood’ on back, date mark ‘o’ and also impressed ‘Wesley’. Good very fine, a lovely example £60-£80
