Early Anglo-Saxon Period, Sceatta, Continental series E, Secondary type, porcupine-like figure, curve of body flanked by pelleted lines, enclosing ‘xii’ rev. standard with ‘cic+’ and various pellets arranged around central annulet, 1.08g (SCBI Abramson 258/265; cf. Noonans 288, 48; Abramson 96-10; S 790D). Good very fine, excellent metal for issue £90-£120
