British Iron Age, TRINOVANTES, Dubnovellaunos (5 BC - AD 10), gold Quarter-Stater, Trefoil type, wreath, plain crescents back-to-back at centre, ringed pellet either side, rev. horse left, branch below, trefoil above, 1.34g (ABC 2395; BMC 2442; VA 1660-1; S 208). Broken in half and since repaired, otherwise very fine and very rare £150-£200
