British Iron Age, DUROTRIGES, Uninscribed issues, billon Stater, Omo type, devolved head of Apollo comprising wreath, cloak and crescents, rev. disjointed horse left, body of crescents, pellets above, four vertical legs, scalloped design in exergue with dashes between, 3.60g/4h (ABC 2172; BMC –; VA –; S –). Dark patina, old scratch on obverse, very fine for type £100-£150
