The obverse reading of this coin is confirmed by a specimen in the Colchester hoard. Churchill and Thomas’ conjectured reading of hvv on the reverse should definitely be corrected to dvv as confirmed by this specimen. It is however still possible that it was based on an extremely rare prototype of Hue at Norwich.
