Found at Downton (Wiltshire) December 1996.
At the Hilary Quarter Sessions in New Sarum in January 1670/1 (OS), Rooke, a grocer, was prosecuted for issuing halfpence and fined 6s 8d (Kempson, BNJ 1973, p.129)
