British Iron Age, BELGAE, Uninscribed issues, gold Quarter-Stater, Hampshire Thunderbolt type, stylised boat with two standing figures, S-shape left and pellets around, rev. cruciform thunderbolt motif, various objects in angles, 1.44g (ABC 767; BMC 129-36; VA 143-1; S 46). Lightly toned, an attractive pale gold and good very fine, scarce £300-£400
