British Iron Age, ATREBATES and REGNI, Tincomarus (c. 25 BC - AD 10), gold Quarter-Stater, Spiral type, circular wreath giving impression of spiral, pellet at centre, rev. horse right, sloping t above, 1.19g (ABC 1094; BMC 781-97; VA 366-1; S 73). Some surface deposits on reverse, otherwise an attractive coppery gold with reddish hues, good fine and rare £240-£300
