Henry VII (1485-1509), Facing Bust issue, Groat, class IIIc, mm. cross-crosslet on obv., greyhound’s head no. 2 on rev., lettering G2/G1b, crown with inner arch plain, saltire stops, double after rex, rev., double saltire before civi and lon, single after tas and don, 2.95g/6h (Carlyon-Britton BNJ XVIII, no.20, this coin; Shuttlewood 31, same dies; SCBI Ashmolean 422; N 1705c; S 2199). Slight crease with associated light scratches on bust, otherwise nearly very fine with light grey toning; a significant and published academic rarity with a superb pedigree £400-£500
