British Iron Age, ICENI, Ecen (c. AD 10-43), silver Half Unit, Mini Ecen type, back-to-back open crescents separated by two pellets, within lozenge of corded lines, rev. globular horse right, rein between chest and nose, V-shape motif above, ec[en] monogram below, 0.51g (ABC 1684; BMC 4217; VA 736-1; S 433B). A little off-centre, otherwise near extremely fine, rare £100-£120
