British Iron Age, ICENI, Ecen (c. AD 10-43), silver Unit, Symbol type [V-Type], double crescent emblem on vertical wreath, rev. globular horse right, large oval head with pellet for eye, s below head, single line of dashes for mane, pellet below tail, pelletal sun above, three pellets and upside down V-shaped motif below, 1.22g (cf. ABC 1681; BMC 4297-4323; VA 756-1; S 436). Small spot of rust on edge, otherwise very fine and horse well-centred £90-£120
