Edward IV (First reign, 1461-1470), Groat, London, class VIII, mm. crown on obv., sun on rev., quatrefoils by neck, fleurs on cusps except over crown, fleur on breast (?), trefoil stops, double trefoil after posvi, don under posvi, 2.39g/7h (LH 212; cf. B & W VIII; cf. N 1571; cf. S 2001). A reasonably well struck and competent contemporary copy, a few green spots, good fine, rare £100-£120
