M.C. London Gazette 3 June 1918 (King’s Birthday Honours list).

Walter Frederick Jackson was the younger brother of Frank Whitford Jackson and was appointed 2nd Lieutenant in the Army Service Corps on 15 September 1914. He embarked for France on 5 October 1914 for service with VII Corps Siege Artillery Park, A.S.C. and is also entitled to the Clasp to his 1914 Star.
