British Iron Age, CATUVELLAUNI, Tasciovanus (c. 25 BC - AD 10), silver Unit, Stag type, tasc in panel on vertical wreath, rev. stag left, looking right, pellet-in-annulet above and below stag, 1.12g/4h (cf. ABC 2634; BMC –; VA –; S –). Struck on an oblong flan, otherwise very fine; a variety of an already extremely rare type £200-£260
