Andrew Sheere signed the Protestation of 1641 at Launceston. In 1660 he paid poll tax of 2 shillings on his estate and a further 2 shillings for the poll. In the 1664 Hearth Tax returns he was assessed at 4 hearths. He was Mayor of Launceston in 1680-1
