Peter Swimer, son of John, was baptised on 29 June 1631. He married Grace (maiden name unknown) and they had two sons and two daughters between 1663 and 1677. In the 1664 Hearth Tax returns he was taxed on 7 hearths, 1 of which was returned by mistake and 3 more blocked up. He was buried in Padstow on 3 April 1699
