The Collection of Lead Tokens formed by the late David Rogers

David John de Sola Rogers (1946-99), a north London-based consultant anaesthetist, had a long-standing interest in small change, toy coins and lead weights, and wrote important catalogues of these series. His significant collection of lead tokens is being sold in two parts, and Noonans would like to acknowledge the assistance given by David Powell, founder and editor of the Leaden Token Telegraph, in the cataloguing of the following 33 lots.
