British Iron Age, ICENI, Uninscribed issues, silver Half-Unit, Butterfly and Boar type, boar right, long bristles topped by pellets, large ear, ‘butterfly’ motif above, pelletal sun each side, rev. horse right, tail of plain line with adjoining line of pellets, pelletal sun above, pellet boss below, 0.44g/2h (ABC 1594; BMC –; VA –; S –). Chipped, broken and since repaired, otherwise fine for this excessively rare issue £60-£80
