Kings of Wessex, Edward the Elder, Penny, Two Line type [HT 1], Kentish dies, Wealdhelm, + eadvveard rex around small cross, rev. vveal delm mo in two lines divided by three crosses, trefoil of pellets above and below, 1.48g/4h (CTCE 288; N 649; S 1087). A little crimped, dark mottled tone, good fine £300-£400
