John Frederick Elliott was born in April 1951 and enlisted in the Royal Green Jackets in March 1970. Subsequently engaged in operations in Northern Ireland and in Cyprus, he purchased his discharge from the 3rd Battalion in September 1973; sold with a quantity of original documents, including his Certificate of Qualifications which confirms his U.N. Medal for Cyprus.
