6 Battery 1st Brigade Scottish Division were the only battery to receive this clasp combination.

Thomas Lamb was born in the Parish of St Cuthbert’s, Edinburgh, in May 1858, and enlisted there in May 1878. In October 1884, he spent 26 days in hospital at Cairo after being kicked on his arm by a mule.
