YORKSHIRE, Doncaster, Subscription Stand Erected 1826, an octagonal silver pass, unsigned [by Wilson], two racehorses galloping to left, for noblemen and gentlemen below, back named (No. 55, Honble. G. Byng, not Transferable), 55 x 37mm, 43.08g (D & W –; cf. Baldwin FPL 1993, 72; cf. Noble II, 1073 [= DNW 47, 429]). Polished, otherwise good very fine and extremely rare; in contemporary maroon leather fitted case £800-1,000
