James II (1437-1460), Second coinage, Second issue, Groat, type III, Edinburgh, mm. crown, from a Stirling obv. die with lis each side of neck, double lis stops with double annulets at end of legend, reversed cs for ds on rev., 3.49g/7h (cf. SCBI 35, 719-20; B 38a; S 5241/5235). Good fine, extremely rare (£600-700)
