Charles I (1625-1649), Third coinage, Briot’s issue, Sixty Shillings, mm. thistle-head and b, 29.23g/6h (SCBI 35, 1424-6; B 5, fig. 1005; S 5552). Scratched behind horse, small flan defect at 9 o’clock where the cutting out of another coin has impinged upon it, obverse fine, reverse very fine (£400-500)
