Charles I (1625-1649), Halfcrown, mm. three gerbs, sword issuant from central gerb, horseman left, plume in field behind, chst below, rev. oval scroll garnished shield, 13.74g/12h (Lyall B/2; SCBI Brooker 1111; N 2627/1; S 3130). Two hairline scratches on obverse and legends weak in places, otherwise nearly very fine, very rare (£1,200-1,500)
