Crimea 1854-56, 1 clasp, Sebastopol (Quarter --aster. Serjt. George Elliott, 5 B--tn. L.T. Corps) depot impressed naming; Ashantee 1873-74, no clasp (Asst. Comsy. G. Elliott, Control Dept. 1873-4); Turkish Crimea, Sardinian issue, unnamed, all three fitted with silver ribbon brooches, the first with edge bruising and contact marks causing minor loss to naming detail, good fine, otherwise very fine or better (3) £400-450
Mr George Elliott served in the Crimean campaign in 1855, including the siege and fall of Sebastopol, and capture of Kertch (Medal with Clasp, and Turkish Medal). He also served in the Ashanti war under Sir Garnet Wolseley (Medal).
