James Baker was born in St. Thomas, Birmingham and enlisted at Manchester. Serving with the 1st Battalion Royal Warwickshire Regiment, he entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 4 May 1915. He was killed in action on 8 July 1915. Having no known grave his name is commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial. Sold with copied research.
