Private John Beaden was born at Dublin and enlisted at Manchester. He was killed in action at Hohenzollern Redoubt on 12 October 1917, whilst serving with the 2nd Battalion, Grenadier Guards and his name is commemorated on the Loos Memorial. His name is given as ‘John Bradon’ in Soldiers Died in The Great War.
