Blue Bowl Inn, Bath road, Totterdown, sold by auction on 23 August 1831 and described as 'desirable premises with pleasure ground, arbours, stables, skittle ground and other appurtenances, now in the occupation of Samuel Wooles at a yearly rent of £50’, he was still the proprietor in 1857.
