Corporal Edward J. Upton, 20th Battalion London Regiment, entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 9 March 1915. He was listed as ‘suffering from gas poisoning’ in the Territorial Service Gazette of 23 October 1915. T.E.M. awarded by A.O.66 of 1926. Sold with copied m.i.c. and gazette extract.
