Charles I (1625-1649), Rose issues, Type 4b (7), single-arched crowns, short legends, mm. mullet both sides, 0.64g/12h (E 202; BMC 345; Cooke 1581-4; S 3206); mm. crescent/mullet, 1.12g/12h (E 203; BMC 343; Cooke 1574-7; S 3206); mm. mullet/crescent, 0.90g/12h (E 204a; BMC 344; Cooke 1578, this coin; S 3206); mm. crescent both sides (3), 0.78g/12h, 0.72g/12h, 0.77g/12h (all E 206a; BMC 340; Cooke 1559-71, including 1561, this coin; S 3206); mm. crescent both sides, inverted A for V in CAROLV, 0.94g/12h (E 206b; BMC 342; Cooke 1572; S 3206); together with a rev. brockage, mm. crescent, 0.68g (cf. E 206; cf. BMC 340) [8]. First four about very fine and better, others generally fine, sixth plated at a later date, E 206b very rare £90-120
