Gaul, The Ambiani, Æ, c. 60-25, round facing head with hair parted into two plaits with rings at end, scroll-like ornaments below, rev. conjoined plumed horses, 2.40g/2h (unpublished in the standard literature; cf. DT 477 and LT 8526 for similar rev. type). About very fine with shiny dark patina, excessively rare; the better of the two known specimens
