Sultan Ali joined the 27th Baluchistan Light Infantry on 12 June 1896. Commissioned as a Jemadar on 22 April 1909 and as a Subadar on 1 September 1913. Attached to the 130th Baluchis, landing in East Africa on 14 November 1915. With some copied research.
