Dick Christopherson was born on 24 March 1894. He served 13 months as a Private in the 85th Field Ambulance, R.A.M.C. and entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 17 January 1915. He was commissioned a Temporary 2nd Lieutenant in the King’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry on 24 October 1915. Later appointed an officer in the I.A.R.O. and served on the N.W. Frontier as a Lieutenant in the 98th Infantry in 1919. With copied m.i.c. and service notes.
