Arthur Henry Pragnell, who originally enlisted in the Hampshire Regiment, died on active service on 31 May 1918, while serving in the 8th Battalion, Machine Gun Corps. The son of Arthur and Hester Pragnell of West Tytherley, Salisbury, he was 24 years of age and is buried in Vailly British Cemetery.
